how does weblogic or a thread pool detect a thread is stuck@@

Q: how does weblogic or a thread pool detect a thread is stuck?

We know weblogic won't kill any stuck thread. Weblogic only detect stuck threads that are managed by weblogic, never a user-created thread.

Can you create your own Runnable object and pass to the weblogic executor pool? Very uncommon, perhaps unsupported.
